The silver dress made its public debut. It didn't happen in January since we seemed to be sick the entire month! February...I don't even know what happened. But on Wednesday, March 1, it happened. I laughed at myself and the crazy dress for the first few hours but the compliments ROLLED in (whether they just wanted to see if I would say thank you or not is a whole different story!!). The longer the day went, the more confident I felt and honestly, by the end of the day....I was starting to think maybe I need to find the gold version too!!! <3
I styled her simply with black heels, a black lace Joy Vest, and silver earrings and bangle bracelets. It is seriously one of the most comfortable dresses I've ever worn. The best part of wearing that dress yesterday was that I got to meet the Founder and Owner of LuLaRoe, Deanne. Total fangirl moment and I didn't even know what to say.
Isn't she gorgeous?? I need to be able to pull of animal print boots like she does. It was really fun because she was super excited about how I styled the shimmering Amelia dress!
My LuLaSisters and I were talking about how crazy it must be to have people line up to have your picture taken with you!! But this woman has helped so many of us gain freedom that we needed!! Here's me, trying to cover up the super reflective boobs. It was still early in the day (VERY!) and I was still feeling self conscious.
Lest you should feel like it was all serious....here's some outtakes from our mini photoshoot after spending the day in downtown Austin. Three of us crazy LuLaLadies seriously camped out in a shady corner at the FRONT OF TARGET for 20 mins taking pictures of each other! There was so much laughing. I'm excited to be able to wear this dress again soon! And look what I bought today to go with it.....
