Up and at 'em again today. For day 3 of our travels. We will arrive today!! We got going, barely, and headed for Texas. Crossing the state line was so super exciting. So exciting in fact, that we pulled over and took a picture. You know what the states really need to consider doing?? Setting up photo ops in safe places, just inside state lines. I would have loved to have gotten a picture with all of us by that sign but of course traffic was horrendous and my husband and dad acted like I was crazy when I suggested it! HA! At some point during our trip, Olivia and Kristo switched places. Well, we forced them to switch, so Papa could get some time with each of them. While Olivia was with us Dad wondered outloud how many times he had read the back of the U-Haul trailer in front of us. HAHAHA. We cracked up and decided it was 100's of times....since every time you look at it, you read it.
HOLDS QUEEN SIZE BED. Shouldn't it be SIZED?!
We stopped for gas at this creeeeeepy gas station outside of Dallas, where a man was bathing in the public bathroom sink and the guy parked at the pump beside us was so stoned that he forgot to leave after he got gas. He really just sat there the whole time we were there. Which was WAY too long. Nick and Dad were trying to figure out where to eat and where to stop next, meanwhile, I'm freaking out thinking that we look lost and would be easy victims! (Not that we were traveling with weapons or anything, that we could use if needed).
Lunch and 90 minutes of driving later and we arrived at the place we will be calling home for a year or two.

I figured the best time for a photo op with the new house is while we wait for the property manager to show up with the keys. Everyone was happy to be out of the car. Also, the grass here is weird and spongy.
